Parrot cage is the most important thing you should have before bringing parrot to your home. You do not want to let it make your home dirty. A restless pet like parrot is impossible to keep out of cage. So as soon you have decided the specie of your parrot, go get a cage first.

Keeping pet parrots in cage is really necessary. If you want to keep them out, you will soon find

dirt on your floor and everywhere else. Your sofas will no longer exist and you will be cleaning filth all the time.

There are many points which one must keep in mind while buying the cage for pet parrot. The size of your parrot, the breed and the quantity of parrots everything must be kept in mind.

The cage size is the first step. You should get a cage considering not only your parrot size but also the other stuff you are going to keep in that. One may want to keep some toys, food plates and swings in the cage to entertain the pet. So a cage must be large enough to keep your pet parrot entertained and move freely.

Next thing to consider is the structure of cage. Gaps between the bars of the cage should be wide according to the size of bird. If the parrot is big, keep the gap between the bars wider so that it may not feel being imprisoned. Small spaces between the bars are appropriate for the bird that is small in size.

Last but the most important thing is the shape of the cage. This entirely depends on the nature of your pet parrot. Some parrots like to jump, some love to fly and other take swings. In these cases the height of cage should be more.

With large parrots, the case is different. We need the height of the cage for climbing, stretching and playing. Still, you also have to make sure that the width of the cage is enough for the parrot.
